Creating a Timeless/Staple Wardrobe

Every girl needs these key pieces on their closet. These are items that you will use for a long time and that never go out of style. These items are basics and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans have become a staple/classic style in denim, so make sure that you’ve got a pair or two in your closet. I love to have light washes for Spring/Summer, dark washes for Fall/Winter. But if you get a medium wash then you can wear year round. I can never have enough skinnies and they are not going out of style so why not!

Little Black Dress
Everyone should have a LBD. This is a great piece to have for any even, it is black so you can play around with accessories. Wear statement jewelry, red pumps, a cardigan or blazer? You can always dress up or down depending on the occasion. The possibilities are endless.

Basic Tee
A white or black tee is a must. It is easy to wear, wash etc. You can easily build outfits around it. Layer it with a parka or leather coat. Wear it with your favorite pair of shorts, or jeans and you are out the door.

Button Up Shirt
Wether you have a desk job or not there are hundreds of ways a button up can be styled. They never go out of style. again works great with everything and can be dressed up or down.

Dress Pants
You never know when you might need it. Even if your work is casual. There are events, funerals, job interviews, dinners what have you. Sometimes you don't feel like wearing a dress or its that time of the month when you do not feel comfortable on a dress or skirt. Trust me you need it.

Black Booties
If you are like me I wear booties year round, Why? Because they are comfortable and they give you that added height with the heel. It is the perfect in-between, to dress up any outfit. I love booties because you can wear with jeans, a tee and a leather jacket for a night out, or with a dress and create a boho chic look.
 Maxi Skirt
Because these are items that you will use year after year make sure to invest in better quality fabrics and stay away from "fast fashion" when building you closet essentials. You can literally wear a maxi skirt hundreds of ways. It is easy and quick outfit. You can wear it with a jacket, lace top, blazer, crop top, whatever your heart desires and you will still look good.

Denim/Leather Jacket
Who doesn't enjoy a leather or denim jacket. I do! Anyone can get away with using either of these, It does not matter your age or body shape you need one of these! They look good with anything. And what I love about both is that they are sturdy and a classic and last you forever. Any look/style fits with it. If you are edgy, pair with a camo pant for a tough look. if you are feminine, pair with a maxi/midi skirt that is a light soft color. Or anyone can rock a super casual look with denim jeans and a t-shirt. Trust me, try it you wont regret it.

What are your closet must-haves?

Beginner's Green Recipe

A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I was motivated to change my lifestyle and eating habits. When I was younger, around 12-13 I believe I ended up in the hospital for a very bad ache on my stomach. I couldn't move and I fainted. I ended up staying in the hospital for about 3 days with IV's on my hands. I was very skinny less than 90 pounds. All I had eaten was a bag of Hot Cheetos and a Pepsi. I was dehydrated. I pretty much learned my lesson, I couldn't eat any meat for years, I stopped drinking soda and it took me 6 years for my stomach to be able to handle things suck as steak, or even a hamburger. Ok, I have to admit I did not eat healthy all throughout my college years because of time and money. Now that I am done with school I am trying to go back on track and change my eating habits. After watching the documentary I decide to try these juices they are talking so much about. I had never like...

Hask Hair Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Collection Review

I am very excited to share yet gain a Hask product I am absolutely in love with. This is the Hask Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner duo that have hydra boost. I have always had straight hair and liveless for that matter so a volumizing shampoo is exactly what I need. With previous Hask products I have had great results so I had high hopes for this one since the beginning.  What I love about this collection is that it is free of sulfates, parabens, alcohol and artificial colors. Hask has a variety of products for your special hair needs, including  Hask give results they added volume to my usually straight hair. My hair looks healthier and gives me a natural bounce that I usually achieve by blow drying my hair and teasing it.  Hask Hair products are very affordable, you get salon quality hair for the price of drugstore. They are $6 a piece and in my opinion a great investment for your beauty routine. They save you time and money and I reco...
