The Pretty Kitty

Wearing a trend or a fabric you think might not be so flattering can be a bit scary. I like with food try anything once before I decide I like it or not. So I have mentioned before I am not a fan of pink but I am loving this light pink that is everywhere now. This is a super fun, cute outfit that gives me 50's vibes. I really enjoyed wearing this outfit because Summer is all about color and prints and this is in between. I don't do much color so I feel pretty good to do prints. Gingham is a very easy pattern to wear. It looks great on all body types, and very easy to wear believe it or not. Styling Gingham is as easy as pairing it with your favorite pair of skinnies. Or wearing a Gingham midi with a chambray top. But like the tittle says it, I have paired this really cute flutter top that is fun and flirty and turned it a bit of edgy with leather. 

When you live near to the beach you want to get the most out of it. I know I enjoy going out with my dog on hot days. Since we do not have the luxury to be a beach bum I have found ways to dress up my swimsuit for other occasions such as going out to the bar, or going shopping. It is always a good idea for us ladies to have versatile pieces in our closets. Layering your favorite swim top/piece is very easy. You can pair with a skirt, which is my favorite or with palazzo pants that are so comfortable and great for a bike ride. You can also use it as a crop top over shorts, denim or overalls. 

When styling your outfits I find that the best way to dress up any outfit is through your shoes. I have a rather easy, comfortable outfit that you can pretty much wear any day. I love denim jackets, they are great for all weather, every season and you can wear them for years.

 I am loving these Distressed Jeans from Just Fab, I typically have to cuff them or wear them with the excess fabric because I am short. But this is the perfect length! Of course I also love these shoes and the purse! I just had to have it. This look is very simple and comfortable. You can dress up with heels or wear sneakers for a walk at the park. The Rossi Crossbody can be used without the strap for a cute little bag.

As a Featured stylist we got to style some of May's merchandise for the month with a "persona". It was so much fun and I am so happy I got to do it. I got to style and choose outfits I think are great for all the sexy bombshells. I enjoy working with a company that embraces all body types, shapes and sizes. I love that I can find things I usually struggle getting in other stores. Because lets face it we are not all size 0 or models! My goal as a stylist is to help others feel great about themselves through their wardrobe. I feel like clothing or wearing the right clothing for your body gives you that extra bit of confidence we all need.
