WWD As many of you know I am crazy for the designer collection and I get my hands on a few pieces when they happen. This time there were so many items I would love to have in my closet. I love pieces that can be used throughout the year such as the beautiful handbag 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target® Mini Satchel with Gusset - Black . I did not wait 4 hours in line as I decided that is absolute madness! Butt I did go first thing in the morning. I was so disappointed to see that they were sold out completely in all handbags and accessories. So I did not get the handbag I wanted. The buzz was higher than that of Missoni's collection so I knew it was going to be hard to get. Regardless I spend a great day shopping for other items in the mall and in my opinion I think it is not worth staying long hours in line. Maybe next time.:)

WWD According to WWD, Target will be partnering with Neiman Marcus. The line will feature 24 CFDA designers to create limited edition holiday pieces that will be sold in both stores.

As you guys probably already know Alberta Ferretti's collection for Macy's debuted on April 17. The collections showcases a series of Spring and Summer appropriate apparel; maxi dresses, tunics, light sweaters all pieces ranging in price from $49 to $109. The photographer Tommy Ton wears the backpack he designed in collaboration with Club Monaco.   For the men who love fashion here is something for you. Tommy Ton's collaboration with Club Monaco.  Tommy Ton, the street style photographer behind the big-time blog  Jak & Jil , celebrated his collaboration with  Club Monaco  last night at the company’s flagship on Fifth Avenue in New York. “The idea was for me to design something that was essential for everyday use,” Ton says. His "man bag" will retail for  $198 to $225 and will be sold at   Club Monaco stores.

Alberta Ferretti for Macy’s, the Italian designer creates a collection for the department store's Impulse brand recently published last week by Women's Wear Daily.
