Guest Post: How to Travel in Style by Elise Morgan

If you’re a girl who loves to keep up with the latest fashion trends whenever and wherever, welcome to the club! Some would say that traveling in style is a bit overrated and that there’s no need for that, but the truth is that you should ditch the haters and dress whatever you like. Here are six useful tips on traveling in style, so check them out!

Luxurious luggage on point
Traveling in style simply requires luggage on point, which is exactly why the majority of fashionistas trust Louis Vuitton on this one. Jet setters from all over the globe adore this brand’s monogram canvas signature pieces, which have definitely become a traveling must-have. If you want to have such a luxurious item, just make sure that its size fits into the overhead compartment in a plane!

Stylish traveling accessories to sweep everyone off their feet
No, we don’t think about your jewelry at this point – but about personalized accessories such as passport covers and luggage tags. You can always choose such items in your favorite bright shades, in order to instantly spot your suitcase coming up as soon as you land. It gets even better when you decide to customize them with your initials!

Ballet flats will save your life
Even though ditching your high heels and opting for ballet flats instead may seem like an impossible mission – trust us, you really want to do that. First of all, flats can be as trendy and stylish as your favorite heels, but with one more advantage. These are probably the most comfortable shoes you can pick, especially when it comes to long overseas flights that require comfy outfits. Besides that, it’s always a good idea to choose a pair that’s half a size bigger – in case your feet swell a bit on the plane.

A comfy yet stylish dress to make the time fly
Traveling in style means that you should come up with a fashionable outfit that’s more than just pretty pieces of clothing combined together – it has to be convenient for the plane. A trendy dress is always a good idea, especially those beautiful cozy floral dressestrendsetters from all across the world simply adore. Such pieces, apart from being so stylish and fashionable, are extremely comfy, too, which is exactly what makes them perfect for the plane. And these go amazingly well with the ballet flats, too!

Simple yet sophisticated jewelry game
When it comes to jewelry, less is definitely more in this case. Of course that you don’t want to feel the weight of heavy chandelier earrings during the flight, or a bulky statement necklace that burdens your chest for hours. Instead, opt for some delicate yet very elegant pieces, such as long necklaces with stunning pendants, combined with small earrings and chic bracelets that follow the same style. Trust us, you won’t make a mistake with such a combo!

Don’t forget the sunglasses (+ de-puff eye gel)
Last but not least, sunglasses are an absolute must when it comes to traveling in style. You can always wear them aboard if the lighting is too bright, and these are the most amazing tool when it comes to covering puffiness under your eyes after the flight. In such situations, a good de-puff eye gel can do wonders for your face. It will cool down your under-eye area, thus reducing visible redness and puffiness. This product can be a true life-saver after a long flight, so make sure you always have it with you!

As you can see, there are so many ways to upgrade your style and make it travel-friendly. The truth is that you can be stylish and trendy no matter what – no one said that clothes you travel in must be baggy and shapeless, even though that’s the definition of comfortable according to some. Listen to your inner fashionista and you’ll be just fine!

Hello Kitty Forever 21 Review

Hello Everyone, so I mentioned the Hello Kitty Collection for Forever 21. I  took a little while to write this post because I have been super busy at school. This is what I got from the collection. I had also purchased the Chococat peplum top and a really cute beanie I had to return because it had some thread that was coming apart. I loved this collection I think they have really cute stuff and I would have purchased more items but I feel like I have to be at the store and try out the stuff (to avoid returns). There was a problem at all the Forever 21 stores I went to, they did not have a lot of items I was interested in. If you wish to purchase I believe they are still stocked online and a few at the stores but let me warn you it is a mess.

Finesse to the Rescue

Last year when I decided to bleach my hair and do a blonde balayage I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I’ve never actually died my hair to that point. I was bored of my hair! I wanted something new. I wanted to feel good and I needed a change. Little did I know the consequences, not to say that I don’t have a good stylist or that I don’t like my hair but the amount of work that is put into it is absolutely crazy. I had naturally straight hair, with that the disadvantage of no volume. Which I also didn’t like. Now with my blonde hair I had volume but my hair was stiff and unhealthy. I would wake up with frizzy unmanageable hair every single day. I still blow dry my hair dry and straighten/curl my hair a few times a week. But I kept on treating my hair like it was normal. I was making a big mistake. I had to change my entire hair routine. This meant it was more money on top of the already treatments that I got. Luckily Finesse was here for the rescue. Can you believe that...
