A Trip to Calico Ghost Town

I love a great adventure specially anything that has to do with history. I was able to stop at Calico 3 miles off the famous Peggy Sue's Diner. To get in you have to pay a small fee to get in but it is worth it. Calico Ghost Town is an old mining town that has been around since the late 1800's and produced more than $20 million in silver. Since silver lost its value a long time ago residents moved away leaving only 9 residents in 2000.

At the entrance their are many shops and restaurants. There are lots of items that were originally used when the town was populated and thanks to Walter Knott the building have been restored, all but 5 that have remained untouched.

As you walk around you can tell there is a lot of history all around. Not only that but many of the shops still carry items sold at that time period.

There is also a small train ride that cost $4 per person. And it will take you around the town and mines where there are still remaining of what used to be homes, and working areas. The picture bellow is the view from inside this train ride. If you are heading to Vegas or around the San Bernardino area you should definitely take your family here. I got to purchase a few items myself in a gems and fossils store I purchased some rocks and minerals. I also purchased some dog treats for Nala. What we did not get to do is take a Ghost Tour but maybe next time!

Enjoy Review

Hello Ladies, Like many of us, we value the importance of treating our hair. It is one of the great things that makes us unique. In order to get my hair that smooth feeling and shine I love using products that I can trust. I got the opportunity to try out the Enjoy Hair Moisture Plus Trio. This is great for damaged hair and you know you need this when the weather is changing. I have to say this is one of my favorite hair products so far. I love the Enjoy Hair Mask. My hair has never felt better. Though I do not have perfect hair and I use a flat iron and curler on my hair on a regular basis using this trio has made me feel like I can wear my hair down without using any heat. It gives my hair volume and it has a clean smell, if that makes any sense. My hair feels clean throughout the day and that makes me happy. The shampoo and conditioner are thick and silky so you don't have to use a lot of product to feel the difference. Overall I think these are great products, they are o...

For me keeping my dog Nala was one of the best decisions I have made. Nala is the daughter of my hubby's dog Buddy, she was 1 out of the 3 and I chose to keep her because she was so fluffy and cute I just couldn't resist. Nala's mother was a stray we took in after 3 days of seeing her roaming through our street she was only 4 months old. Anyways, hubby and I moved in to a small studio appartments close to the University so we coulnt have pets. Back then we didn't have any but Buddy so he stayed with my mother in law. After that Coco the 4 month old chihuahua was taken in. Then at 6 months she got preggo. She...
