How to make a heart-shaped Cake!

You don't have to be an expert on cake decorating to make a beautiful heart shaped cake for Valentine's Day. You can do one like this, and it is so easy.

Here is what you need:

9 in cake pan

9 in square pan

2 cake mix (follow instructions)

One they cakes are backed you cut the round cake in half and turn the square cake into a diamond shape. Just like the picture above. Then you can start decorating. I made my own frosting but you can buy the ones that are already made. Using a Wilton 1 M which can be found at Michaels for less than $3. Starting from the inside clockwise until you feel you have a big enough flower. You can change the color of your frosting I used Wilton Icing Color in Rose.

And that is it, it takes time but it is simple and fun.
