According to their website: Tea Tree Oil is known around the globe as a natural antiseptic, most commonly used topically. (An ingredient in toothpastes, mouthwashes, creams, etc.).

Naturally as an antiseptic, but they have developed it, with Kanberra to remove mold and mildew

It's a natural antiseptic. I put the pure form on the spot for zits and I put some with glycerin for toner. Great stuff :]
