Nature Box Review

Screen shot 2012-08-19 at 6.17.09 PM

Hello Everyone, I am really excited about this days review. Nature Box was so kind to provide me with one of their great subscription boxes. A little bit about Nature Box, like I said they are a monthly subscription box that deliver healthy snacks to your door for only $19.95.It includes 5 full sized packages with delicious snacks that are a healthier than buying snacks at a bending machine.

What I received:
1 bag Banana Bread Granola
1 bag Taj Mahal Snack Mix
1 bag Lemon Meringue Waffles
1 bag Whole Wheat Rasberry Figgy Bars
1 bag of Italian Bristo Pretzels

The Banana Bread Granola is delicious, it taste great with yogurt or cereal. It is not too sweet but enough to satisfy a sweet tooth like me. You can also eat with many other combinations. Great for breakfast.
The Taj Mahal Snack Mix was my least favorite even though I love trail nuts and raisins. I felt like it had a very strong taste of pepper or some kind of spice. I think I was surprised because I did expect it to be sweet. But that is just my opinion because I gave some to my in laws and they loved it. I guess it is just your preference.

Lemon Meringue Waffles had a great smell. It is great to eat these instead of cookies and with green tea. It is not sweet but they do taste like lemon. You can also make a frozen yogurt sandwich with 2 of these waffles. Great for snacking!

The Whole Wheat Rasberry Figgy Bars were my favorite there were 5 individually wrapped. I ate 2 myself and shared with my Hubby, mother in law and father in law they all loved it. I was excited about eating this because I remember my mother buying Fig Bars when I was a child and we all loved them. So it has been around 14 or more years without having one. These are great and I highly recommend them, I just wished they would sell these in larger quantities.
The bag of Italian Bristo Pretzels has a strong taste of garlic, they are delicious in a salad. These are crunchy and have no grease or excess salt.

Overall:
I love that the bags are resealable. The packaging is cute, eco-friendly, and durable. The snacks are perfect for on the go, for school, work, or at home. You can eat them alone or you can add them to some of your favorite dishes.

Beginner's Green Recipe

A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I was motivated to change my lifestyle and eating habits. When I was younger, around 12-13 I believe I ended up in the hospital for a very bad ache on my stomach. I couldn't move and I fainted. I ended up staying in the hospital for about 3 days with IV's on my hands. I was very skinny less than 90 pounds. All I had eaten was a bag of Hot Cheetos and a Pepsi. I was dehydrated. I pretty much learned my lesson, I couldn't eat any meat for years, I stopped drinking soda and it took me 6 years for my stomach to be able to handle things suck as steak, or even a hamburger. Ok, I have to admit I did not eat healthy all throughout my college years because of time and money. Now that I am done with school I am trying to go back on track and change my eating habits. After watching the documentary I decide to try these juices they are talking so much about. I had never like...

Hask Hair Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Collection Review

I am very excited to share yet gain a Hask product I am absolutely in love with. This is the Hask Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner duo that have hydra boost. I have always had straight hair and liveless for that matter so a volumizing shampoo is exactly what I need. With previous Hask products I have had great results so I had high hopes for this one since the beginning.  What I love about this collection is that it is free of sulfates, parabens, alcohol and artificial colors. Hask has a variety of products for your special hair needs, including  Hask give results they added volume to my usually straight hair. My hair looks healthier and gives me a natural bounce that I usually achieve by blow drying my hair and teasing it.  Hask Hair products are very affordable, you get salon quality hair for the price of drugstore. They are $6 a piece and in my opinion a great investment for your beauty routine. They save you time and money and I reco...
