As Valentine's Day comes near you are probably wondering what to do, where to go, what to wear etc. In the course of these days following to the 14th I will be posting ideas on these subjects. For the ladies, theses are great ways to impress that special someone and for men well this is just to get an idea of what you can do with your special lady. OK so here we go...
Depending on the type of couple you are there are many fun things to do. You don't have to feel pressured into spending lots of money buying the biggest teddy bear and the biggest box of chocolates. I don't know about you, but I love it when my hubby is romantic and does something special for me that I don't expect for example breakfast in bed or breakfast in general. A lot of men don't cook (if you do you are awesome) and it is cute to know you are going out of your comfort zone to your women happy. OK enough with the chit chat here they are.
1. Romantic Picnic
You don't have to spend a lot of money in an expensive restaurants. Some ladies/men like the simple things. Cook a nice meal, dessert, and pack wine or ice tea if you are not old enough to drink. You can buy picnic baskets/sets that provide you with everything you need: the plates, utensils etc. You can purchase these at Walmart or Target. This is best done at the park and not the beach, you would not want sand on your food.

2. Dinner & Entertainment
This is one is a fun one, Medieval Times offers you a deal; a meal and a show I am sure there are more locations throughout the states or there is the Tournament of Kings in Vegas if you are spending your day there. They offer great deals if you sign up for their email newsletter. I have been in both places and I highly recommend it, oh and the food is Delicious.
3. Disneyland
If you are up for it of, this is a great option. Of course here you are talking about spending some money. And if you are out of state there are packages for a mini getaway available. This is also a great place to capture memories. Make sure to try the ice cream sundae from the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop at Disneyland Adventure.
4. Movie Night
Something inexpensive to try is going to the movies, though it may be packed it is worth it. They offer a great selection during this time and women love the chick flicks, romantic comedies etc. You can also stay in and watch a rental or on-demand if you have it. Great to cuddle!
5. Bowling
I love bowling even if I am not good at it. Time flies you have fun and you can start a little competition between your loved one. Most of the bowling alleys I've gone to have music playing in the background, have the dark light going on and they sell fast food and drinks.
Disclosure: I was not compensated by any product or company to post about them, these are my own personal opinion and experiences.
