5 Chinese shipments of 20,457 counterfeit Christian Louboutin shoes were confiscated when the U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized them at the Los Angeles/Long Beach seaport. The shoes came from China labeled as "generic shoes" in large cargo boxes with a domestic value of $57,000.
Apparently, these red-soled shoes were going to be sold at swap meets and on websites, but despite being fakes, they could have made sellers $18 million! I want to know who in their right mind would actually believe that they were in fact real Louboutin shoes on sale. I know I would love to own a pair but if its fake it just wont feel the same.
What will happen with the counterfeit Christian Louboutins now? Authorities plan on burning all of them. Would you buy fake Louboutin if you had the chance?
