Ways to Save Money on Clothes

Every girl loves to shop and during this hard times you often find it difficult to shop what you want. You want trendy clothing with great quality at an affordable price. Its Hard Right! I also have what people call a shopping addiction and it is really hard to save money specially if you have other things to pay. Here are a few tips i have so you can manage your money most effectively.

1. Set a monthly budget
This is a great way to limit your self and think about what you are going to purchase. If your shopping budget is $200 decide weather you want to spend it at Forever 21 or buy a good pair of 7 jeans. Because Forever 21 is fast fashion you would only be able to wear it for that season, unlike the jeans; they can last you an eternity. (Mint App lets you track your spending for FREE)

2. Shop sales & Holiday Specials
Your favorite stores are always having sales or clearance items. This allows you to purchase what you like for a fraction of the cost. Tip: Make sure to inspect the item before you buy it. Many stores put up clothing that have been damaged.

3. Shop at discount store
There are many stores that offer great product selection at great prices. Just be in the lookout for damaged products. You can easily get overwhelmed with the amount of people, the clutter, babies crying. So be prepared.

  • Ross
  • TJ Maxx
  • Marshalls

4. Shop thrift stores
OK so this is the deal with thrift stores, you can easily get overwhelmed by everything you see. But if you look hard you just might find something special. You can Google search the best thrift stores to shop around your area. Be prepared; wear something comfortable so you can try on items. There are no fitting rooms. The best part is that you might find something other people don't have. Many thrift stores also have sections where they keep their designer stuff so be on the look out.

5. Shop online
There are great places to shop for quality items. If you know the brand and you are familiar with the fit, then this is great for you.
There are so many amazing websites that get you quality and designer clothing and accessories for up to 80% off. Some of my favorites are beyondtherack.com, hautelook.com and this website nomorerack.com where you find a little bit of everything.

6. Shop with cash only.
If you can, only carry cash and hide your cards. If you have the money on your savings you will see yourself buying something you shouldn't of bought and suffering the consequences later.

7. Use any coupon/discount you get!
If you are going to spend might as well save some money while doing it.

Remember if you are limited on budget, focus on getting wardrobe basics and essentials. (post coming soon)

Hello Kitty Forever 21 Review

Hello Everyone, so I mentioned the Hello Kitty Collection for Forever 21. I  took a little while to write this post because I have been super busy at school. This is what I got from the collection. I had also purchased the Chococat peplum top and a really cute beanie I had to return because it had some thread that was coming apart. I loved this collection I think they have really cute stuff and I would have purchased more items but I feel like I have to be at the store and try out the stuff (to avoid returns). There was a problem at all the Forever 21 stores I went to, they did not have a lot of items I was interested in. If you wish to purchase I believe they are still stocked online and a few at the stores but let me warn you it is a mess.

Removing the signs of aging has become a real trend in the past years, and patients didn’t even care if they had to go under the knife, as long as the result was a younger looking face.
