Guest Post: How to Fight Allergie by Alex Williams

Allergies are one of the biggest nuisances that can ruin our day. It is estimated that around 50 million
people suffer from allergies in the US alone, and that number is still rising. They are caused by numerous allergens which lurk around everywhere and many make the wrong conclusion to think that the safest place to avoid them is at home. There are a lot of items that can harbor allergens, and in order to make your house allergen free, we have prepared some easy to follow tips and tricks.

Home remedies

There are ways you can fight a running nose, and itchy eyes caused by allergies by preparing remedies at home. You can prepare a hot nettle peppermint tea and add honey or sugar if you want to make it sweeter. The peppermint found in the tea contains a flavonoid that functions as an antihistamine, preventing the excessive secretion of enzymes, which prevents inflammation. You will need a teaspoon of dried peppermint, a teaspoon of nettle, some honey and 8 ounces of fresh water in order to prepare this delicious drink. An additional home remedy is bee pollen, which you can use to strengthen your immune system before the allergy season even begins. Make sure you are not severely allergic to pollen before you try this method.

Don’t drag them inside

We spend a lot of time outside in nature and we expose ourselves to allergens, additionally we let them get stuck to our clothes and shoes. The biggest problem here is that we bring them into our homes where they get stuck to the carpet, furniture, and other clothes. It is important to take a shower if you are extremely allergic, and to always take your shoes off when you enter your home. You should wash your clothes as often as possible as well.

Keep the air clean

There are a lot of factors that can contaminate the air in your home and make it suitable for allergens and generally create a chance for numerous respiratory problems to occur. Therefore, it is wise to invest in air purifiers for your home, which will eliminate all the health threats in no time with just a press of a button. If you are not sure about which one to get, you can always look for the best air purifier rating.

Clean your home

The most efficient way to get rid of allergens in your home is to dust more often. Another great way is to make sure that there is no clutter and that the furniture and smooth surfaces are dusted and cleaned. Dust particles and dust mites thrive in carpets, wardrobes full of clothes and on furniture as well. One important fact that you have to keep in mind is that dusting can make the situation even worse if you don’t dust properly because you can scatter the little trouble makers into the air and spread them all over the room. Use damp and moist rags that will absorb dust. Make sure to keep your mouth and eyes protected while you’re cleaning. You will find that vacuuming can be a great way to make your home even cleaner. The important thing to note is to use a HEPA filter, which is particularly useful for collecting small particles, preventing them from spreading even more.

Keep your home mold free

Mold represents a serious threat to health and it can be found living in our homes. There are various
causes of mold such as leaky pipes, humid weather, and many other things. When mold occurs, it is
paramount to air the rooms as often as possible because most mold spores need a humidity level of 55% in order to grow. Most people tend to use humidifiers in their homes and if they set them to a level higher than the aforementioned one, they run a risk of getting mold. Leaky pipes are not the only cause. Leaky roofs and windows are just as dangerous. Therefore, invest in fixing all the leaks in your home, and always check for some you might have missed.

All in all, it is important to keep your home allergen and mold free in order to prevent asthma and other harmful respiratory problems. Invest in humidifiers and air purifiers for your home, and make sure to dust, vacuum, and clean your clothes and furniture, and all smooth surfaces.

Enjoy Review

Hello Ladies, Like many of us, we value the importance of treating our hair. It is one of the great things that makes us unique. In order to get my hair that smooth feeling and shine I love using products that I can trust. I got the opportunity to try out the Enjoy Hair Moisture Plus Trio. This is great for damaged hair and you know you need this when the weather is changing. I have to say this is one of my favorite hair products so far. I love the Enjoy Hair Mask. My hair has never felt better. Though I do not have perfect hair and I use a flat iron and curler on my hair on a regular basis using this trio has made me feel like I can wear my hair down without using any heat. It gives my hair volume and it has a clean smell, if that makes any sense. My hair feels clean throughout the day and that makes me happy. The shampoo and conditioner are thick and silky so you don't have to use a lot of product to feel the difference. Overall I think these are great products, they are o...

Beginner's Green Recipe

A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I was motivated to change my lifestyle and eating habits. When I was younger, around 12-13 I believe I ended up in the hospital for a very bad ache on my stomach. I couldn't move and I fainted. I ended up staying in the hospital for about 3 days with IV's on my hands. I was very skinny less than 90 pounds. All I had eaten was a bag of Hot Cheetos and a Pepsi. I was dehydrated. I pretty much learned my lesson, I couldn't eat any meat for years, I stopped drinking soda and it took me 6 years for my stomach to be able to handle things suck as steak, or even a hamburger. Ok, I have to admit I did not eat healthy all throughout my college years because of time and money. Now that I am done with school I am trying to go back on track and change my eating habits. After watching the documentary I decide to try these juices they are talking so much about. I had never like...
