NYE OOTD with Fashion Mia


I love wearing fashionable clothing that can be used various times. I know it is important to stay relevant with fashion trends but I also believe your closet should consist of mostly classic and staple pieces you know that can be mixed and matched with other items and that you know will be worn many times. I love affordable! Don't we all. I know I have fun looking through fashionmia.com and all the great pieces you can get both affordable and in style. Because of the holidays I decided to go with this beautiful red gown that compliments my figure and it is the right amount of sexy.



I love the sexy sweat-heart cut and how flattering the cinched waist is. I have always been so conscious about my arms and the shoulder detail helps so much with that. I do have to be honest I did not expect the slit in the front to be so high up but I actually like it. It is sexy but not too much skin shows. You may notice i am also short and I did not have to alter the dress' length and my heels are probably 2-3 inches.

Beginner's Green Recipe

A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I was motivated to change my lifestyle and eating habits. When I was younger, around 12-13 I believe I ended up in the hospital for a very bad ache on my stomach. I couldn't move and I fainted. I ended up staying in the hospital for about 3 days with IV's on my hands. I was very skinny less than 90 pounds. All I had eaten was a bag of Hot Cheetos and a Pepsi. I was dehydrated. I pretty much learned my lesson, I couldn't eat any meat for years, I stopped drinking soda and it took me 6 years for my stomach to be able to handle things suck as steak, or even a hamburger. Ok, I have to admit I did not eat healthy all throughout my college years because of time and money. Now that I am done with school I am trying to go back on track and change my eating habits.
