Beauty Box 5 Review

BeautyBox 5 is an online beauty subscription that is only $12/p month or you can purchase quarterly or yearly subscriptions which save you money. The box comes in a Tiffany Blue which is really cute. Inside, 4-5 samples. I was really excited to receive my first BeautyBox5. This is no ordinary samples and the $12 are really worth it.

My box contained the following:

What is Beauty Box 5:
-This is a sample service that charges different amounts allowing you to test it out for $12 a month, pay $30 quarterly (saving $6), or $100 yearly (saving a whopping $44) which I really like. Even monthly it isn't too unreasonable. Its only $2 more than Birchbox or MyGlam which is do-able in my book.

- Samples come in a blue/green colored cardboard box with a drawstring baggie of samples + an info card.

- You receive 4-5 samples a month. - See more at: http://stephanielouiseatb.blogspot.com/2012/08/july-2012-my-first-beauty-box-5-review.html#sthash.QX1EqbJT.dpuf

Tree Hut Shea Butter Body Scrub in Coconut Lime: Natural Organic Shea Butter. I love any body scrub that does wonders. This is definitely my favorite from the box. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh after the shower and the smell is amazing,

Bodygraphy Foundation Primer in Clear: Another great product, I have never heard of the brand but I think its great it is so soft and it leaves your face smooth. It comes on clean and matte. So you wont look oily. This is something to look forward once I finish my sample.

Brazen Organic Cosmetic Mineral Eyeshadow in Birthday Suit. I have to say this is my least favorite. I do not like shimmery shadows and the packaging is awful. I wished it would come in a different form. The color does not go well on me on my opinion.

Model Co Ultra Lip Gloss in Strip Tease is another great product. Again I have never heard of the brand but I liked the color and consistency of the liquid. My favorite part was the convenient mirror You can take it anywhere and reapply at convenience. Works well with nude lipsticks.

Blinc Mascara: It is water-resistant, no smudge, no run, flake-free. It is said to give length, volume, lasting power. It is meant to be left on so no makeup remover is necessary. I love this sample it gave me darker fuller lashes instantly.

Overall I think the BeautyBox5 is a great service, great product value and you are really getting your moneys worth. Most of the products can be considered deluxe samples if not full size such as the body scrub. It is an affordable subscription. This is a great gift for any women who loves beauty items. It is a great way to try brands/products you have never heard of before. I know I have beauty staples that I first tried through samples and I now love. Also if you travel like me you know you cant take everything with you so these are great sizes to travel with.

-Blinc Mascara
I've gotten this before... think twice? It just isn't for me. Its supposed to be water-resistant, no smudge, flake-free, & is a tubing mascara. It just didn't give me the length, volume, or lasting power. I know some people LOVE it though so this isn't a bad sample.

Full size: $26.00 for 0.21 oz   Sample: 0.02 oz which is $2.48 - See more at: http://stephanielouiseatb.blogspot.com/2012/08/july-2012-my-first-beauty-box-5-review.html#sthash.QX1EqbJT.dpuf

Enjoy Review

Hello Ladies, Like many of us, we value the importance of treating our hair. It is one of the great things that makes us unique. In order to get my hair that smooth feeling and shine I love using products that I can trust. I got the opportunity to try out the Enjoy Hair Moisture Plus Trio. This is great for damaged hair and you know you need this when the weather is changing. I have to say this is one of my favorite hair products so far. I love the Enjoy Hair Mask. My hair has never felt better. Though I do not have perfect hair and I use a flat iron and curler on my hair on a regular basis using this trio has made me feel like I can wear my hair down without using any heat. It gives my hair volume and it has a clean smell, if that makes any sense. My hair feels clean throughout the day and that makes me happy. The shampoo and conditioner are thick and silky so you don't have to use a lot of product to feel the difference. Overall I think these are great products, they are o...

Beginner's Green Recipe

A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on Netflix called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I was motivated to change my lifestyle and eating habits. When I was younger, around 12-13 I believe I ended up in the hospital for a very bad ache on my stomach. I couldn't move and I fainted. I ended up staying in the hospital for about 3 days with IV's on my hands. I was very skinny less than 90 pounds. All I had eaten was a bag of Hot Cheetos and a Pepsi. I was dehydrated. I pretty much learned my lesson, I couldn't eat any meat for years, I stopped drinking soda and it took me 6 years for my stomach to be able to handle things suck as steak, or even a hamburger. Ok, I have to admit I did not eat healthy all throughout my college years because of time and money. Now that I am done with school I am trying to go back on track and change my eating habits. After watching the documentary I decide to try these juices they are talking so much about. I had never like...
