Fashion's Night Out

Fashion's Night Out is getting closer. On September 8 more than 500 cities including major cities will be taking part of this event that seems to be growing every year. Stores have special limited-edition products, celebrity appearances, free goodies and performances.  FNO 2012 is said to be even bigger and better than any years before!

So what is FNO? It is a global shopping event spearheaded by Anna Wintour and American Vogue in 2009 to boost spending during the recession.

Riverside will be having 'Downtown Riverside Celebrates Fashion's Night Out'. Highlights include downtown business promotions from 4 pm to 9 pm, the Main Street Fashion Show with the RDP Fashion Star Award winners one of which is my fellow classmate CAITLYN MCKINNEY from the Art Institute of Inland Empire at 6 pm, the FNO hairstyling competition at the Riverside Auditorium and Events Center at 6 pm, the launch of Aurea Vista, A Shopping Mecca at 7 pm with Aurea Vista Live at 7:30 pm, and after parties from 9 pm on. I actually got the chance to look at the venue last week and I found some pretty interesting things. I loved how all the "shops" were from local artist and small companies. They give an opportunity to grow and for other people to showcase their passion.

I also found out that Macy's and Neiman Marcus will carry the Fashion's Night Out collection of logo T-shirts and totes. I am not sure about the price but when I find out I will let you know.

Hello Kitty Forever 21 Review

Hello Everyone, so I mentioned the Hello Kitty Collection for Forever 21. I  took a little while to write this post because I have been super busy at school. This is what I got from the collection. I had also purchased the Chococat peplum top and a really cute beanie I had to return because it had some thread that was coming apart. I loved this collection I think they have really cute stuff and I would have purchased more items but I feel like I have to be at the store and try out the stuff (to avoid returns). There was a problem at all the Forever 21 stores I went to, they did not have a lot of items I was interested in. If you wish to purchase I believe they are still stocked online and a few at the stores but let me warn you it is a mess.

Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask
